Zafar Gill was born August 31, 1959 in Pakistan and passed away July 22, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He’s married to Nasreen Iqbal Zafar. Zafar had two sons (Farrukh) and (Amaris), one daughter (Abraj) and a large extended family. He was a worker at Salt Lake International Airport and was the church planter Pastor of the Alpha and Omega URDU Church in Salt Lake City reaching the Pakistani community here in Salt Lake City. He enjoyed the ministry of teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people. He was a prayer warrior even continuing his prayer ministry taking requests from people from his home country of Pakistani and around the world. There will be a celebration of life service Tuesday July 28, 2020 at Cornerstone Church, 1175 West 600 North, Salt Lake City, UT starting with a viewing at 10:00am, service at 11:00am and graveside dedication at 12:30pm Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan UT. Following the graveside dedication the family would like to invite you back to the church for a fellowship luncheon in honor of Pastor Zafar Gill’s life. A link will be provided for your convenience to join remotely via the Internet. * Social distancing and Masks will be required at the church.
