Yvonne Eisenmann

January 15, 1952 — July 2, 2015

Tanis “Yvonne” Bonzo-Coggle Eisenmann passed away, unexpectedly, July 02, 2015 after a short but devastating illness. Yvonne was born January 15, 1952 to Georgia Lamir Bybee and Theron Reese Bonzo. Her parents later divorced and Georgia married Vernon Leonard Coggle who adopted Yvonne and became her “forever” father. She was blessed to have six sisters and three brothers whom she adored. She lived most of her youth in the Sugarhouse area and graduated from South High School. Shortly thereafter she met and married the man of her dreams, Richard (Dick) Eisenmann, who was serving in the US Navy. After the service, they moved to his home state of New York where they lived for six years before moving back to Utah to raise their family. They had two daughters; Melanie and Brianna, and one son; D.J., and opened their hearts and home to others, even helping to raise their niece’s Michelle and Robyn and nephew Jason for a time. She spent most of her adult life doing clerical work for various companies, including Heritage Bennion Care Center, Midvale Police Department and was currently employed as an evidence technician for The Unified Police department serving the Greater Salt Lake Area. Yvonne was a member of the LDS church and thoroughly enjoyed working in the primary when she was younger. Although she was not active for many years, she ALWAYS maintained a strong testimony of her Heavenly Father and shared her sweet spirit with all those who knew her. Aside from her husband and children, the light of Yvonne’s life were her grandchildren! They were never without an armful of hugs, a face full of kisses, a U-Haul of Christmas gifts, and a purse full of gum! Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
She is survived by her husband; Dick, three children; Melanie Lockhart, Brianna (Clayton) La’ulu, and D.J. (Emily) Eisenmann, eight grandchildren, six sisters, three brothers and a whole slew of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents, one niece and one nephew, and an even bigger slew of “abandoned” animals! She is once again providing a warm lap for her beloved Great Dane, Diesel.
From Yvonne: If I have accomplished nothing in this life but that my family knows how much I love them…then it is enough.
Services will be held Friday July 10, 2015 at 11 am in the West Jordan 43rd ward chapel, 6695 S. 2200 W. in West Jordan, UT. There will be no viewing. Interment will follow at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 S. 1300 W.
