Wilma Fullmer Wiece
1918 – 2014
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, Wilma Wiece, 95, died January 16, 2014 in Taylorsville, Utah.
Born May 30, 1918 in Stores, Utah to Lorenzo B. and Margaret Fullmer. She married Richard F. Wiece July 18, 1935. Wilma was the “ultimate” caregiver – always cooking and caring for her family and her grand, and great-grandkids. She shared with all of us her quick wit, sense of humor and beautiful singing.
Survived by her children, Richard Chad Wiece, Ronald (Sandra) Wiece, Rayola (Delbert) Polad, Lorna (Jeff) Garner; 24 grandchildren, and many great and great-great-grandchildren who all love her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Norman; daughter, Shannon; daughters-in-law, Virginia and Gloria; grandchildren, Russell and Trina; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 22nd, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services.
The family thanks Avalon West Care Center, and all those who cared for mom.
