We are saddened by the loss of our mother and grandmother, Wilma Jean Beebe Petersen, who passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019 at the age of 89. She leaves behind a legacy of family and friends who loved her dearly.
She was born on December 6, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Julia Beebe. Wilma enjoyed spending time with her family, country music, dancing and an occasional Bud Light.
Wilma is survived by her children:Connie Rockwood, Clifford Petersen, Karyn Rasmussen, and Clint Petersen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Petersen; Son, Howard Petersen; daughter, Patricia Sanchez; son, Richard Kooyman; grandchildren: Douglas Sanchez, Jeremy Soto, Riley Petersen and Scotty Petersen.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the same location. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.Service Information
