Wilma A. Wolcott Gotchy Turner

Wilma A. (Wolcott Gotchy) Turner, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Oct. 8, 2018. Born March 31, 1925 in Buffalo, WY. to Clyde E. and Edith L. Altman Wolcott. She married Harold Gotchy, later divorced; married Clyde Turner in 1967. She worked and retired from Parker Hannifin Seal Division of SLC. She enjoyed watching her Utah Jazz. She is survived by her 5 children, Jan Furstenfeld, Mavis Wheelwright, David (Mae) Gotchy, Cheryl (Jedd) Fisher, Jacque (James) Garden, stepchildren Ted (Denise), Phillip (Jill) Turner, Lisa (Don) Lindgren, 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother Neil Wolcott and her best lifetime friend Jean Dickey (or as we called them, “Thelma and Louise”). Preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and 2 grandsons.
Friends may gather to offer condolences on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123. Service is at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at the same location. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary, PO Box 935, Riverton, UT, 84065.
