William Lee Wilson (Bill), beloved brother and uncle passed away October 9, 2013 from natural causes. He was born August 17, 1962 in Ogden, Utah to Woody and Barbara Wilson (divorced). Barbara then married Raymond Hall who raised Bill like his own son.
Bill graduated from Hartvigsen where he had many special friends. He played the Cowardly Lion for many years in the school play “The Wizard of Oz”. He was a real ham and made a fantastic lion. Bill was a pure and sweet soul with a laugh so contagious we will never forget it. His memory for birthdays was incredible – he never forgot a date. He loved dogs, Elvis, acting, biking, and his awesome collection of Hot Wheels. He was very proud to have been such a wonderful son who helped take care of his aging parents until they passed on.
He is survived by his sisters Cindy (Mike) Robertson, Raylyne (Doug) Salveson, Darlene (Rio) Criddle, Cindy Ann Scruggs, Penny Rae Fowler; brother Larry (Stephanie) Hall; 26 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, and brother-in-law Bruce Scruggs.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful people of Summit Home Health and Hospice for giving such good care and love to Bill, and special thanks to Angie Neff for her sister-like devotion to Bill. Also, a thank you to Bill’s dog Rex – they meant so much to each other.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Park.
