Our beloved William Wilson, known to many as Bill Sr., returned home on August 21, 2017 while surrounded by love. He was born November 25, 1939 to Clarence and Thelma Wilson in Salt Lake City. After graduating from West High School in 1959, he married his high school sweetheart, Harlene Hall, and they enjoyed a beautiful life together for 60 years.
Bill loved people and could warm your heart with a smile and a joke. He was always willing to help others and was considered a loving father figure by many. He also shared his great heart in his fifty-year career at Machinery Consultants. Most precious to him are his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Harlene, their children, Tricia (Rick) Morgan and Bill (Andrea) Wilson; grandson, Colton (Anndi); brothers, Joe and Ron; sister, Georgina; and brother-in-law, Richard. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Clarence, Jr., sister, Lilly, and sister-in-law, Patsy.
The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to staff at IHC Hospital (Murray) and My Family Doctor (Draper) for their compassionate and extraordinary care. Special thanks to friends Lynn and Margie, and Gary R, for your comfort, assistance, and love.
In lieu of flowers or donations, spread your love. Please share your memories with the family. Funeral Directors: Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary.
Till we meet again at the raspberry patch. Aloha Papason!
