William L. Smith

Bill passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 23, 2019. He was born to Richard and Laura MacBride Schmidt on July 22, 1939 at their Family Home in Holladay.  He grew up with his Siblings in Glendale, Utah.
He married the Love of his Life, Judy, on April 17, 1958. Together they raised 4 daughters. Deanna Dalton (Lester) Patricia Calegory (Jeff) Janice McCusker (Jeff) and Shelley Kinservik (Kelly).
Bill joined the US Navy in 1957 and served Proud for 20 Years. He was a Radioman on Submarines and advanced to Senior Chief before deciding to Retire. He Moved on to a few other Careers including teaching JROTC @ Woods Cross High School.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy, of almost 61 Years, 4 Daughters, 10 Grand Children and 16 Great Grand Children with one precious little one on the way.
He Loved his Adventures, Road Trips, Family Games and his Geedunks (Snacks). He instilled in all of us a Caring nature and a Love of Life and Adventure as well. We will forever be grateful.
He is Preceded in Death by his Parents, In Laws Boyd M. Evans and Dorothy Ann Mary Williams and all of his Siblings and their Spouses.
Funeral Services are to be @ Memorial Lakeview Cemetery on March 28th at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held prior from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
On to his Last Patrol – “Fair Winds and Following Seas”.
We will miss you Greatly.
