William Hersey Sears, age 39, was born June 26, 1977 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 12, 2017.  He was the oldest of 8 children born to Dennis and Eileen (Montgomery) Sears on June 26, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Will loved snowboarding, rock climbing, and mountain biking; art, reading, and music; and working in the laundry at the Provo City Center Temple.  He had a big heart and spent many enjoyable hours with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William E. and Melba (Stahle) Sears and maternal grandfather, Merlin Montgomery.  Will is survived by his 7 siblings: John (Itsuka) Sears, Kristin (Ammon) Hardy, Jennifer (Aaron) Olsen, Emily (David) Sudweeks, Megan (Steven) Glenn, Ruth (John David) Clark, Alyssa (Ben) Hansen; one grandmother, Alice Montgomery; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and 14 nieces and nephews.
