William Gordon

Born on April 26th 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away November 24th 2015 from medical complications. Proud retired Captain of the U.S. Marine Corps. Served two tours in Vietnam. Very illustrious career in the Military, he was awarded many medals and honors. Commander of the American Legion Post 112. Instrumental in the development of the Navy F14A Jet Fighter as a test pilot for Grumman Aerospace. Worked as a chemist at ARUP, a clinical reference laboratory. Survived by: Rosemary Gordon (Wife), brother, John Gordon and wife Brenda, Sons William, and Randall and wife Thanhvan, 4 grandchildren, William and wife Kristina, 1 great grandchild, and his lifelong best friend, Milt Raddon. Bill will be greatly missed by many. Graveside services will be held Tuesday Dec. 1st, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan Ut. at 1:00pm.
