William Edwin Cook, age 76, died on March 30, 2024, in Draper, UT. He was born on December 20, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK to William and Opal Cook. He married Penelope Whittier on June 18.
William served in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Iraq Freedom/Enduring Freedom. He loved building things but finishing them wasn’t his strong suit. He always did things his way, even if it wasn’t the easiest. He had a restless mind, rarely sitting still without some project in the works, He was a wonderfully complex man and will be missed deeply by his family, friends, and associates.
William is survived by his children Chris Cook, Tom Cook, and SaraJane Gumpper, his grandchildren Alyce and Damien Hales, his twin sisters Marta and Marsha, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Penny.
A memorial service for William will be held on May 4, 2024.
