William Clark

August 6, 1932 — November 20, 2015

William Rex Clark
1932-2015
William Rex Clark passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015, of age related illness.
Rex was born August 6, 1932 in Altonah, Duchesne, Utah to Norman Eugene Clark and Agnes Vendetta Ralphs. Rex married Margaret June Fenn of Roosevelt, Utah in 1954, later divorced. Together they had 4 children. Rex married Opal Haycock of Escalante, Utah in 1968, later divorced. In 1984 Rex married the love of his life, Faye Cloward, of Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. Faye passed away in 2009.
Rex was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he served in many callings, and is fondly remembered by neighbors and friends for his many acts of service. But his acts of service always came at a price, which was “one dollar eighty-six plus tax.”
Rex joined the US Army in 1952 and served honorably until his discharge in 1954. He was proud of his service for his country.
Rex is survived by three of his children: Agnes Maxine Powell, Beverly Ann Jones, and William Eugene Clark (Traci). He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Rex Clark.
We would like to express a special thank you to the staff of the William E. Christoffersen Salt Lake Veteran’s Home and to the staff of Brighton Home Health and Hospice for their care of Rex.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Oquirrh 4th Ward, located at 5208 Cyclamen Way (6300 South), West Jordan, Utah, with a viewing one hour prior at 10:00 am. Interment will be next to his beloved Faye at the Provo City Cemetery.
