William “Bud” Lee Gregovich

William “Bud” Lee Gregovich, age 88, passed away on May 4th, 2021, in William E. Christoffersen VA nursing home. He was born on January 7th, 1933, in Great Falls, Montana to Anthony “Tony” and Genevieve “Jean” Gregovich. He married Elaine Nelson Hill on September 21, 1972.
Bud joined the USMC in January 1950 and served with the 1st Marine Division in Korea. Discharged in January 1962. Bud joined the Army in 1962, served with the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam, and retired in 1970. Then went to work at Fort Douglas, UT at the USAR school and promoted to Senior Administrative Tech. In 1982 he went to work for the National Weather Service and retired in 1990.
He is survived by two daughters Therese Ann Hubbard (Mark) and Veronica Jean Lamb (Ronald), two stepchildren MaryAnn Delacruz and Terri Lee Hill. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sherley L. Cross (Garrett), stepsons James Lewis Garrett and Kim Richard Hill, brother Robert A. Gregovich and grandson Christopher M. Quinones
