William (Bill) Hales Page

May 23, 1934 — July 23, 2020

William (Bill) Hales Page was born May 23, 1934 in Bountiful, Utah to William L. and Cleo Hales Page. He passed away peacefully in his home in Millcreek, Utah on July 23, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Gysler Page; children Christine West (Mike), Brent (Mirielle), Greg (Lisa), and Andrea Johnson (Bill); grandchildren Stephanie, Nicole (Jared), Davis, Dallin (Becca), Lauren Zaugg (Devyn), Ryan, Megan, Maddison, Abby, Jake, and Sophie; and sisters Janice Dawson (Dick) and Gayle Anderson (Larry).

Bill grew up in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Davis High School. He served faithfully in the Southern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He married his eternal companion on June 12, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Doris traveled all the way from Winterthur, Switzerland to find him. In their early married years, they lived in Alabama, Michigan, California, and Utah as he served in the U.S. Air Force. Bill eventually earned his degree in civil engineering from the University of Utah and they settled in Northglenn, Colorado where they raised their four children.

Bill was a faithful and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and follower of Christ. He provided a wonderful life for his family and taught them by his quiet but dedicated and steady example. We express deep gratitude for his love and selfless gifts and look forward to our future reunion with him.

A private family service will be held followed by interment in the Murray City Cemetery.
