William “Bill” Foster
“Wandering Willy” wanders no more.

Bill Foster passed away peacefully at home on April 28, 2016. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 1, 1927 to Waide and Ethel Foster. He married Lois Robbins September 16, 1947. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Now they’re together again. He returned to his sweetheart.
He is survived by six children, Ronald Foster, Debbie Green (Terry), Steven Foster (Kathy), Robert Foster (Mary), Tori Drechsel (Lonne), and Tisha Peterson (Doug), 25 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a sister and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers and sisters, and his son, Billy Foster.
Bill and Lois traveled to many places, and their favorite place was Jerusalem. He served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bill and Lois also served in the Cove Fort, Utah and Nauvoo, Illinois Missions, which was the fulfillment of their hearts desire. The most important thing in his life was his family. Everyone who knew Bill loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Capitol Hill Ward Chapel, 413 N West Capitol Street, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:45 prior to services. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr., Bountiful.
