Wilfred Fredrick Duffield

Wilfred Fredrick Duffield, age 89, died on May 17, 2017, in Murray, Utah. He was born on January 2, 1928 in Yakima, Washington to Raymond R. and Harriett Duffield. Wilfred married Kathlyn Thompson on August 12, 1949.
W.F. had a great career at Kennecott Copper. He always worked other side jobs to support his family. He was an avid runner which proved to give him a very strong heart and lungs. He loved to take his children to Disneyland on vacation once a year. He also took them to Hawaii for a most memorable Christmas.
Wilfred is survived by his children: Craig (Barbara) Duffield, Margo Duffield, Sherrie Smith,  and Gregory (Kreighan) Duffield; grandchildren, Mercedes Duffield, Carrera (Josh) Hermansen, Remington Duffield, Braunson Duffield, and Terry Duffield; Great-grandchildren: Braxton, Jaxson, and Maddox Hermansen; Brothers: Graham Duffield and Dusty Duffield.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Harriet Duffield, and his wife, Kathlyn Duffield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.MemorialUtah.com.
