Wilford Maesar Finck

Born September 13, 1926 in Salt Lake City, he passed away in his sleep April 7, 2018. He was 91 years of age and lived a long and active life. He was the son of Alfons and Paula Finck of Salt Lake City. A graduate of West High School, he
excelled and lettered in football and basketball. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy during WWII. After the war ended, he served and LDS mission to the
Northern States and Canada. He married Elaine Norell of Canada in the Salt Lake Temple June 8, 1949 and at her passing in 2006 they had been married 58 years. As he wanted, they are together again. They were proud parents of two children, Dan Finck of Arizona and Sandra Putnam of West Bountiful. Wilford loved his five grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and his dog, Libby. All of us will miss him and are thankful that Willie and Elaine are together again. The family is grateful to the VA for so many years of help and support and to the Life Center of Bountiful for all their help and understanding. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 11:00 am, at the Rose Park South Chapel 1155 North 1200 West, Salt Lake City. Interment will follow at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. To express condolences please
