Wayne Carl Inman

Wayne Carl Inman, age 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday August 9th, 2022 after a long chronic illness.
Wayne was born in 1943 to Bill and Leah Inman in Murray, Utah. He lived and worked his whole life in the Salt Lake City area. As the oldest of 6 children, he helped to care for his siblings and had a strong sense of responsibility and caring for others. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, drag racing, auto racing, and most sports.
He is survived by his son William (Beth), and two granddaughters Sarah and Sage.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jean and daughter Lindi.
A memorial gathering will be held at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, Cemetery and Pet Garden at 3115 East Bengal Boulevard on Wednesday, August 17th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Wayne would want us all standing around talking, as he loved talking to everyone.
Per his wishes, Wayne’s ashes will be scattered at a later date, in a place close to his heart.
Wayne always left the people he met and the places he went better than he found them. In lieu of flowers, please share what you’ve got with someone who might need it more than you do.
