Warren “Ted” P. Bithell II
February 17, 1934 ~ July 2, 2015
Warren “Ted” Peter Bithell II passed away July 2, 2015 in American Fork, Utah at the age of 81. He was born February 17, 1934 in San Francisco, California to Warren Peter Bithell, Sr. and Grace Yelton. Ted graduated from Montebello High School in 1952 and immediately went into the US Navy and served for 4 years from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War. In October 1954 he married Nancy Driskill in Anaheim, California. Ted had 4 sons, Warren III “Todd,” David, Troy and Ryan. Ted graduated from USC 1965 in Business Administration with a minor in Plastics Engineering.
Ted enjoyed success with various companies throughout his career: Dupont, Celanese and Northrop Grumman. Outside of Ted’s professional career his favorite pass times include: Coaching Baseball, Family History & Genealogy and Teaching the Gospel as he served in numerous capacities within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ted was a devoted son, father, brother and member of the LDS Church.
Ted is survived by his loving sons: Warren III (Natalie), David (Shari), Troy (Eleanor) and Ryan (Patty), 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers: Fred (Sharon) Bithell, DeForest (Laurie); and many nieces and nephews and loving family members.
A Funeral Service will be Friday, July 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah. Interment to follow services at Mount Olivet Memorial Park, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Please have all flowers sent to Lake Hills Memorial.
