Warren Batie

February 6, 1972 — April 18, 2015

Warren H. Batie
“Beetle”
Warren, age 43, was taken tragically from us on April 18, 2015. Born February 6, 1972 in Salt Lake City, UT to Donald and Sylvia Batie. Married the love of his life, Vicki Hogan in 1995 and the two of them shared a true love story. Together they were blessed with Aspen and Jameson. Warren attended Cottonwood and Taylorsville high schools graduating in 1990. Warren served proudly in the United States Coast Guard. Warren loved nothing more than spending time with his incredibly close family. He had a unique relationship with his nieces and nephews, especially Dylan. Warren kept many close friends for his whole life and they too were more like family because of the type of man and friend he was. Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside working. One of his favorite places to be was the family “All R’s” Cabin. Many precious memories were made with family and friends at the cabin that will never be forgotten. There was no bigger fan of the Denver Broncos than Warren. Warren was able to attend a once in a life time game last year in Denver with Vicki to see their two teams face off with Denver being victorious, he described that as one of the best times of his life. He loved working for the family business All Around Tree and Spray Service, taking so much pride in his work as an excellent, certified arborist. One of the proudest moments of his work was being part of getting the National Holiday tree to the White House in 1996. Warren was part of such an amazingly close extended family all over the country. From coast to coast numerous aunts, uncles and cousins to name them all would be impossible. He was taken much too early and had so much more to give. Warren is survived by sweetheart Vicki; children Aspen and Donald Jameson; parents; siblings Brian (Mindy), Nancy (Justin) and Dawna; mother in law, Rae (Grandma Dirty) and sister in law, Tina and so many he considered brothers, to name one would negate another. Preceded in death by his grandparents and reunited with 3 very special four-legged best friends Rufus, Miles and Kidd.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Southside Church of Christ, 3200 West 7000 South, West Jordan, UT with a viewing one hour prior.
