I crossed the bridge of mortal existence to eternity on February 23, 2014 to join my family members that have taken the same path and crossed the same bridge to eternity. I started my earthly journey on September 13, 1925, in Hamburg, Germany, the daughter of Wilhelm and Ida Schoenrock.
I met and fell in love with my sweetheart Gerhard and we married on September 25, 1943 while Gerhard was on leave from the German Army. We were blessed with four wonderful children.
In April of 1952 we moved as a family to the United States to begin a new life and to have many more opportunities to create a loving home.
I enjoyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Music of the church and being a member of the Ward Choir were one of many things I enjoyed each week. Reading the scriptures, gardening, sewing and doing some travelling around the world brought much happiness in my journey upon this earth.
My Mother, Ida and Father, Wilhelm along with sisters Herta, Ursula and brother Eric have already crossed the bridge. Gerhard my loving husband and beautiful daughter Christa have crossed the bridge and are opening their arms to welcome me home.
I leave behind many loved ones including my sons, Jens, Burghard (Bernice) and Klaus (Shirley). Thirteen grand children, twenty great grand children and one great, great grandchild and, two brothers, Werner and Karl-Heinz.
I want to thank the staff of the Brighton House in Riverton and Utah Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
