Walter Nicoll

Born in Kirriemuir, Scotland, 24 February, 1929 to William and Elizabeth Brymer Nicoll, passed away 19 January 2014. Husband of Thelma Gilzean who preceded him in death. Walter and his siblings had a strong work ethic. He served his apprenticeship as a carpenter and was a member of the Local Carpenter’s Union. He and Thelma were staunch members of the First Presbyterian Church. Survived by a brother, Alec of Dundee, Scotland and brother-in-law, Eric (Audrey Ann) Gilzean of Salt Lake City, and many many friends. Walter was lovingly cared for by George Wright and his staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Salt Lake. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25th, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 12 C Street. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
