Wallie Gansauge, age 89, passed away on December 24, 2017 in her home in Salt Lake City. She was born on March 1, 1928 to Harold and Louisa Slinning in Aalesund, Norway. Wallie married Art Gansauge on February 6, 1954 in Winnemucca, NV.
Wallie loved to do needle work both crocheting and knitting. She really got involved into doll making when she lived in Japan for four years.
She is survived by her husband, Art. Her son, Gary (Susan); grandson, David (Meghan), granddaughter Michelle (Alfie), and 7 great-granddaughters.
Wallie is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her granddaughter, Kristine.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Brighton Point Ward, 3455 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City. Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.Service Information
