Waldean Beach

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Friend Waldean Naomi Hawkins Beach passed away September 8, 2018 in Holladay, Utah. She was born September 7, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida to George Alma Hawkins and Ruth Croft Hawkins. Waldean married the love of her life, Gary Alan Beach on August 11, 1961 in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple. She dedicated her life to serving her family, neighbors and her church. She served 28 years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is survived by her children: Elaine Beach, John (Tasha) Beach, Michael (Kristen) Beach, Steven (Haley) Beach, Christopher (Dominiic) Beach; Grandchildren: Parker (Bryn) Beach, Dexter Beach, Keegan Beach, Ashley Beach, Lucas Beach, Aaron Beach, Rex Beach, and Ayden Beach; Brother: Harvey (Jane) Hawkins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, mother and father. The family would like to thank The Ridge at Cottonwood and Brighton Hospice for the care and dignity they provided.
Funeral services will be held September 15, at Noon at Cottonwood 3rd Ward, 6301 S 2300 E, Holladay, Utah. A viewing will be held at the ward 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM prior to funeral services. Interment at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the LDS Church Missionary Department: donations.lds.org or the Alzheimer’s Association: alz.org.
