Another of God’s children has risen to glory. Vivian Daly Passed away peacefully on November 24, 2017. She was born in San Diego, California on February 21, 1926 to Joseph & Ruby Diaz. She leaves behind the love of her life, Richard Daly. They just celebrated their 15th Wedding anniversary. Vivian was a career employee with the Dee’s Corporation. She was a supervisor with Dee’s, when burgers were just 15 cents.
Vivian raised six boys practically by herself, and still, never lost faith in her Lord & Savior. She was a truly amazing wife and mother. She loved to cook, attend Sunday worship and play cards.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard Daly. Sons; Jim (Gale) Truesdell, Larry (Becky) Truesdell, Randy (Ruth) Truesdell, Rick (Teri) Phipps, and David (Lenette) Phipps. Many grandchildren, Many great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, son Roger Truesdell, grandson Joshua Phipps, and daughter-in-law Becky Truesdell.
A viewing will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, Wednesday, November 29, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Cornerstone Church, 1175 West 600 North, on Thursday, November 30, beginning at 11:00 AM. Viewing for family & friends will be one half hour prior to services. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery immediately following the services.
A luncheon will be served at the Cornerstone Church after interment.
The family would like to thank the wonderful people from Alpha Hospice for their care, understanding and compassion in our time of need. They would also like to extend a deeply, heartfelt thanks for all those who sent flowers and cards. Things are much brighter, knowing how much our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, is loved by others.Service Information
