Virleen went camping in heaven after a long battle with kidney disease peacefully on the afternoon of June 21st.
She was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming on June 11, 1941 to Russell A Smith & Kathryn C Morison Smith. They later moved to Rupert Idaho. She married Lawrence E Oliver February 23, 1960. Later divorced and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she lived for over 50 years. She worked for the state of Utah Health Department as an eligibility caseworker, retired.
She loved collecting Angels and felt that she had a guardian Angel protecting her through her challenging times. She loved all arts and crafts and was very talented at anything she did. We will cherish her creations. She loved camping. She believed God is in nature and camping was her religion.
She is survived by her children, Ronda (Richard) Stayner, Rob (Becca) Oliver and Raycene (John) Eaton. 7 grandchildren, Danielle (Reggie) Tuttle, Nathan (Daniella) Oliver, Alisha (Michael) Raue, Brittani Oliver, Shabree (Cody) Bates, Kailey (Phil) Van Otten and Ali (Treven) McPherron, 14 great grandchildren soon to be 16. Virleen is also survived by her brother Larry Smith.
Her family would like to thank all the wonderful people at Fresenia Kidney Care, Sunridge Assisted Living & Memory of Roy, Beehive Nursing and ATLAS Homecare and Hospice. There are truly Angels among us.
