Virginia Ruth Reed Spuhler

Ruth, Returned home Feb. 28, 2018 surrounded by her family. She passed suddenly from complications do to pneumonia. Ruth was born on Oct. 9, 1935 to Claude and Virginia Mounteer in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the fourth of six children. She was raised in a very loving family. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1953. She met the first love of her life Jay Reed, the two married and raised 3 children. She loved to golf, bowl, and play cards with family and friends. She met and fell in love with Charles Spuhler, the two were married for 13 years.She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will greatly missed by all that loved and knew her.
She is survived by: son Michael (Sheila) Reed, daughter Joanie (Ron) Campbell, step children Tim (Carmen) Spuhler and Cheryl Counsil, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by: husband Jay Reed, brother Dick Mounteer, her parents, husband Charles Spuhler, daughter Jamie Garner, and sister LoRainne Tischner.
