Virginia North

Loving wife, amazing mother, and wonderful grandma. Virginia “Ginger” Ruth Wells North, 92, passed away January 8, 2021, at her home in Midvale, UT. She was born on January 16, 1928, to Libbie and John Wells in La Barge, WY. She attended Murray High School and graduated from Jordan High School. On February 21, 1952, she married Leroy “Pink” G. North, and together they had 3 children, Grant (Jean), Vicki (Bob), and Jerry, as well as seven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She used to care for a garden full of vegetables and flowers, enjoyed reading Mary Higgins Clark books and other mysteries, cooking, enjoyed her Lipton tea, and playing cards.
Virginia will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She has been reunited with Leroy, the love of her life. The family would like to thank Uila Titia from Carrying Hearts Home Care, your love will always be remembered. Plus Becky and Kylee from Valeo Home Health & Hospice.
Funeral service will be held at January 16, 2021, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with early viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan. Viewings will be held on January 15, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary & Cemetery,10055 South State Street in Sandy.
