Virginia Mccomb

Virginia Gwendolyn McComb, 89, left this world to join her beloved husband, Thomas, on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born September 24, 1925 in Salt Lake City, UT to Richard and Gwendolyn Ingleby. She married Thomas William McComb on December 20, 1941. They were sealed together forever in the LDS Temple on November 22, 1950.
Virginia was the personification of love, compassion and service. She was always willing to give a helping hand. She was a loyal friend and kept close to friends her whole life. Everyone who knew Virginia loved her and felt her sweetness and good humor. She was a faithful member or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions in her church. She loved being with family and attending family activities and took pride in her family.
Virginia is survived by her children, Sandra (Perry), Thomas (Linda), Sherry (David), Lori (Kevin) and her sister Ruth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; sister, Betty and brothers, John and Richard. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 12th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13th, 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
