Virginia Carter Daniels passed away March 15, 2014. She was born February 3, 1922 to John Albert and Jane Ann Pearson Carter in Milford, Utah, the 9th of 10 children. She married Wilford G. Daniels on January 21, 1941 in Beaver, Utah and they spent 53 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death June 7, 1994. They were later sealed in the Bountiful, Utah temple.
Virginia was always a hard worker and loved to keep an immaculate yard and home, until her death. She enjoyed golf, traveling the world, and was active in the Union Pacific Old Timers club for many years where she made lasting friends.
She is survived by her 2 sons and 1 daughter, “Wolf” Wilford (Sally) Lapointe, UT; Dennis (Maureen) Woods Cross, UT; “Sam” Sandra Welsh White, Bountiful, UT. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Tracy, Travis, Ty, Troy, Mandy, Dennis, Raymond, Court, and “Riki” Catherine, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and all of her brothers and sisters, and cherished son-in-law John “Johnny” White.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Bountiful Val Verda 2nd ward building, 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah 84010. Viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the church, there will also be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service at 10:00am. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
