Viola Crebs

The most wonderful Nini, Viola Carmen Gomez Crebs, left this physical body, Sunday, August 5th, peacefully in the loving arms of her ‘Babe’, Randy, with whom she shared 41 years of marital bliss. They are the couple that termed the expression “Unending Love”, with many wonderful memories that were shared.
Nini was the leader matriarch to our family. She was the fun one and everybody’s best friend. She could do it all, sewing beautiful dresses, laughter in the mountains while summiting peaks, cooking the best meals and hours of playing Goldilocks and the Three Bears with her grandkids.
Nini was born June 3, 1956 and married her handsome love, Randy Michael Crebs on July 2nd, 1977 in St. Marguerites Catholic Church. Together they raised three children, Jared (Crystal), Melissa (Curt) and Pamela. Nini loved sharing the fun, hugs and giggles with her four grandkids, Audrey (8), Blake (3), Ellis (3), and Cole (1). Nini worked hard raising her children and when the time was right, she went back to school and received her Radiology Technician degree from Salt Lake Community College in 1995. She continued to do this until 2005 where she worked from home with USANA, which allowed the freedom to travel the world with her love, enjoying the finest this life had to offer.
Nini was the one we would constantly joke that would ‘outlive us all’. Up until the final days she still took her vitamins, ate her healthy food, and took pride in herself. Life takes tricky turns like this that only remind us to love more, be kind and spend your time together. We are blessed that our lives are forever connected.
She is survived by her loving mother Agatha Gomez, sisters Carla (Wayde), Rosalie (Garry), brother Felix and many extended family members. Nini will be reunited with her father Felix Gomez and sister Pauline.
We would like to thank Intermountain Homecare and Hospice for their tender, devoted care towards our entire family and especially Nini in her final days.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123 at 6:00-8:00 PM with funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Copperton, 8892 West State Highway, Bingham Canyon, Utah 84006 on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery.
