Viola Adamson Weeks, 85, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, returned to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 1st, 2018. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to John Paul and Linnea Adamson on September 21st, 1932. She married Karl R. Rocks in 1951 and they had four children. She is survived by her children Lorin (Elisabetta), Barbara (Scott), Lenea and Doug, her sister Paula, 10 grand children, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She later married Owen Weeks in 1974.
After raising her children, Viola returned to school to become a nurse and worked at Cottonwood Hospital for 19 years. She was a devout christian who loved the Lord dearly and wrote many beautiful poems that she felt were inspired by God. She was also a talented singer who often blessed others with her beautiful voice. She is preceded in death by her mother, who died shortly after giving birth to her. Father, three loving step-mothers, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and her dear grandson, Daniel. Though she will be sorely missed by all who knew her, we celebrate the lovely, intelligent and sophisticated lady whom we cherished.
