Victor Daniel Godoy Jr.

Victor "Chito" Daniel Godoy Jr. passed away at age 36, on May 21st, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on March 29th, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Tracey Martinez and Victor Godoy. He was in a loving relationship with Felicia Lopez.

Chito recently got his G.E.D. He loved watching movies and listening to music. He enjoyed driving around town blasting music. In his free time he would draw, sketch and tattoo. He loved spending time with family, friends and loved ones. He will be remembered as a loyal, funny, strong willed, family man. He will be missed dearly. 

He is survived by children: Maliyah Godoy and Victor Godoy III. Parents: Victor Godoy and Tracey Martinez. Siblings Morise Godoy, Emilio Castillo, Melissa Godoy, Jasmine Godoy, Brianna Martinez. Nieces: Morissa and Alissa Godoy. Nephews: Emilio Castillo Jr. and Cruz Castillo. Girlfriend: Felicia Lopez. Family friend: Earlene Beamish. And Many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by Grandmothers: Mary Martinez and Martha Godoy. Grandfather: Sesario B. Martinez.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, located on 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. The daytime viewing will begin at 11:00 AM at the same location. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
