Vicky Lynn Trujillo

February 5, 1947 — November 11, 2017

Vicky Lynn Trujillo died peacefully on November 11, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 5, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack R. Larsen & Darlene Nix.
She met and married her soul mate, Richard in 1970 and together they raised 3 children, Tony, Tina, and Tammy. Raising their family mostly in Carbon County, mom worked as a waitress at China City and a Manager at Metro Gas Station. In 1995, she and Richard along with their daughter Tammy moved to Salt Lake City and settled in Kearns, Utah. She worked as a customer service manager for Feature Films for Families till her retirement in 2012. She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed crochet, bowling, dancing, & going yard selling. She loved a good deal. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, trips to Wendover, fishing, and spending time with her family. Like her own mother, mom was strong willed. She never backed down from anything, yet she was kind and soft hearted and would help anyone who needed it. With great sadness we say goodbye to the matriarch of our family, yet with a smile we remember her fondly and are thankful she no longer suffers. We love you mom!
Survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard; son, Tony (Brandy) Colonna; daughters, Tina (Ted) Henrie, Tammy (Cary) Butler; grandchildren Richard, Brandle, Brylee, MaKayla, Colton, Dade, Austin, Kadin, Anthony, Tanesa, Cary; great grandson, Brooks; brothers, Jack (Shirley) Larsen, Rick (Loann) Burge, Ron Burge; sisters, Kathy Funderburk, and Terry (Steve) Vernon as well as many friends and family who were sure to visit mom and spend time with her. Special thank you to mom’s doctors and nurses with Intermountain Hospice & IMC for taking such great care of mom.
Preceded in death by her father, Jack R. Larsen; mother, Darlene Nix Mueller.
