Vern Degrey

August 22, 1930 — July 9, 2021

Ruel “Vern” Vernon DeGrey, age 90, passed away on July 9, 2021 in Kearns, Utah. He was born on August 22, 1930, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ruel Salisbury DeGrey and Martha Rosina DeGrey. He married Kathleen Broughton in December 1954.
He is survived by his son Larry (Ronette) DeGrey; daughter in law Deena DeGrey; five grandchildren, Amber (Dustan) child; Charles (Billy) and (Brandi) DeGrey; Nicole (Jason) Atkin, Ryan (Amy) Degrey; Krista (Jason) Lleweilyn; nine great-grandchildren, sister Vyonne (Doug) Kemp.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Rick Vernon DeGrey, sisters Donna DeGrey, Deanna (Aimes) Harrison.
A graveside service will be held on Friday 7/16/2021 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment to follow services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
