Vera Eyre

Vera Jean Stoffers Eyre, our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother passed away on October 25, 2013. She was born on July 9, 1927 in Cokeville, Wyoming. She met her dear husband, Bruce, while attending the School for the Deaf in Ogden, Utah. They married on November 21, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. She enjoyed being a part of the deaf community, as well as serving in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is greatly loved by her family. She is survived by her loving Husband Bruce, her Children Cheryl Eyre, Kent (Debra) Eyre, Gary (Melanie) Eyre and Annette Eyre; her 8 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her cherished Mother Anna, her Aunt Tillie, and Uncle George. Our sincere thanks to Vera’s caregivers at Country Care, South Davis Community Hospital, and Orchard Cove for their loving care. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, UT. Viewing one hour prior at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM.
