1931-2016
Venus Elaine Melonas passed away April 2, 2016. The only child of Speros Melonas and Helen Mitrakos Melonas. She graduated from the University of Utah and went on to teach Home Economics at Queens College in New York for 30 years. Venus returned to Utah after retirement to be with family. She was always very proud of her Greek heritage. Survived by her God Daughters,   Loretta McHugh, Christine Riley and their families. Cousin Demitra Archos of Chicago. Thanks to Lisa and Jake Cude for their friendship and care. Viewing Tuesday April 5th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services Wednesday April 6th at 12:30 P.M. All services will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church 5335 South Highland Drive.
