Velma Alice Garcia, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, in West Valley City, Utah, at the age of 86. Born on November 10, 1937, in Peñasco, New Mexico, to Margitio and Epimenia Quintana. 

Velma's life was characterized by her love for dancing and traveling, showcasing her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will forever be remembered by her loved ones.

Velma is survived by her siblings, Teresa, Floyd, and Patsy. Her daughter, Lisa (Ken) Earl. Grandchildren: Lyndsey (Zach) Hayes, Jake Earl, Haileigh (Chad) Nieberger, and Riley Earl. Great-Grandchildren, Mason, Layne, Ellie, Mac, Rilynn, Adilynn, and Rhettlee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margitio and Epimenia Quintana, as well as her siblings and her loving husband, Roberto Garcia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
