Valeria Lundstrom

Valeria was a strong, independent woman who loved people, long walks, music, and life itself. She was born in Idaho on May 27th, 1920 to Elmo and Alice Calkins. She later moved to Utah and followed a career that took her to 90 years young. She was taken too soon on May 11th, 2015 at the age of 94. She is survived by her son Mike and his wife Carla; stepchildren Linda, Sally, and Miles; her grandchildren Bill, Vicky, Heather, Justin, Kerry, Todd, Bill, Patty, Nathan, Carmen; four step-grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her very much. Services will be held on May 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Cathedral Church of Saint Mark’s, 231 East 100 South, Salt Lake. A private graveside service for the family will follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery. Rest in peace, Grandma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mundi Project in Val’s name.
