Troy Lynn Stevenson

Troy Lynn Stevenson, 46, of Sandy UT died on November 2nd 2019 in Salt Lake City. He was born on May 15th, 1973 in Salt Lake City to Darwin Clyde and Colleen “Gaye” Stevenson.
He is survived by his parents, his aunts Jeanne and Carolyn, his brothers Craig and his husband John, Cory and his wife Sue and his daughter Ashley. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncles Monte and Glade and his sister Lori.
Troy loved fishing and camping. He was an award-winning tap dancer and teacher.  During his dancing career, he took pleasure in judging dance competitions around the country. Troy was an excellent salesman, and enjoyed helping others find the perfect product that met their needs. He recently fulfilled a lifelong dream to live and work on the Oregon coast, where he worked at a fishing charter company. He was a great conversationalist and could become anyone’s friend in a short period of time. Troy had a huge heart and always made time for others in need.
His greatest joy was his daughter Ashley. Although his time with her was often limited, he always took full advantage of that time when it was available. He looked forward to and always talked about his daddy daughter dates.
A viewing will be held November 8th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m, followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek 7th Ward building at 2115 East Creek Road, Sandy, UT. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Millcreek. Funeral Services entrusted to Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary.
