Tracy Haight

August 8, 1961 — April 10, 2018

The last week has been full of rain because Heaven weeps with our family. The tears are not only born of sorrow but are also filled with unsurpassable joy because one more angel rejoined our Father in Heaven. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, our sweet wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend Tracy Kay Cowles Haight was welcomed home and embraced by the Savior and family members that have gone before her. The Lord may have taken her from our earthly lives, but she will forever live in our hearts. We know she will be the angel on our shoulder until we are reunited and held in her arms again.
Tracy was always a fighter and fought until her very last breath. She loved to laugh and tease and enjoyed a good practical joke. She loved camping and fishing and never worried about getting dirty. She was adventurous, spirited, and spunky. She taught us many lessons, had the sweetest heart, and loved with every fiber of her being. She liked to help and took in any stray animal in need (Including the human kind). Our lives will forever be better because of her influence. Tracy was a talented artist, loving wife and mother, devoted daughter, caring sister, and confidant. More importantly, she was a friend to all of us.
Tracy was born August 8th, 1961 In Salt Lake City, Utah to Alvin and Joanne Cowles. She was the second child and completed their family. She married her one true love Kalvin D. Haight on September 5th, 1980 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Together, they weathered the storm of life with their hands clasped tight the whole way. Tracy was baptized in The Assembly of God Church and gave her heart to the Lord.
She is survived by her loving husband Kalvin D. Haight, her three children – Dustin Alvin (Camille) Haight, Danna Kay Haight (Shihab Rambo), and Daneal Anber Haight; her six grandchildren – Kalie Ranae, Cassidy Jayne, Emily Jo, Aspen Grace, Kendra Camille, and the newest arrival Liam Kalvin. Tracy is also survived by her parents Alvin Bill and Joanne June Cowles as well as her brother Stuart Alvin Cowles. She leaves behind many more who love her including in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The list of people who love her and were touched by her life is infinite.
