Tracy Bnrooks

March 22, 1970 — October 15, 2015

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, Tracy Ann Brooks returned home to her Heavenly Father October 15, 2015 after a lingering illness. Tracy was born March 22, 1970 in Murray, Utah. She is survived by a loving mother, Judy Prestwich Brooks; brother, S. Scott Brooks; niece, Emma Brooks Hanson; and nephew Benjamin Brooks. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack J. Brooks.
Tracy attended SLCC, studying Special Education. This showed her interest and devotion to help and serve others. After high school she worked at fabric and craft stores. Tracy loved the Gospel and her Heavenly Father. Family is what mattered most to Tracy. She loved occasions spent with her family and always looked forward to spending time with them. She loved people and doing special things for them. Her special “light” and bright, happy spirit were apparent to all who knew and loved her. Emma and Ben always had a special place in her heart – she couldn’t have loved them more had they been their own children. This was also true of Emma’s husband Brett Hanson, she felt closely connected to him as well.
A special thank you at this time to the staff and caregivers at Country Life Care Center in Riverton, for the loving, compassionate care Tracy received the past 6 months.
