Tomilyn Redmond Pahl

Tomilyn Redmond Pahl, passed away December 8, 2018. She was born November 1, 1971, the daughter of Thomas Michael Redmond and Linda Lee Putman Redmond. Her Mom and Dad, family, friends and neighbors had so much love, happiness and excitement when she was adopted to her family. She was a blessing. She grew up in Taylorsville, Utah with her parents and brother, Raymond Thomas Redmond. She loved her brother and he loved her. They shared a lot growing up with family traditions, family closeness and the illness and passing of their Dad; when they were young.
She was a good dancer and loved it. She grew up dancing and performing throughout the valley. She attended Taylorsville High School.
She married Richard Jeffs and during their time together she had her beautiful daughter Chelsie in 1991. Chelsie was her pride and joy. She was so very proud of her. They had a special mother-daughter bond. She became a loving and passionate Grandma when Chelsie had Marlee Ray. She had her special games she would play with her grandson. She was excited for her new grand baby that is expected in April.
Tomilyn has been with Randy Taylor for many years. They were a team making their lives together. When she started having to deal with her many health problems; Randy has always been there for her.
She had a wit about her. She would catch you off guard with her witty comments. Tomilyn had a lot of artistic ability; making gifts and picking out special mementos for her family. She worked in accounting for many years. She felt that was her professional calling.
Tomilyn loved her niece and nephews. She also had a close relationship with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We can’t forget her pets: Prince, Binky and Baby which were always cuddled up to her with comfort.
She is survived by her daughter Chelsie (Gabe), grandson, Marlee Ray; Randy Taylor; Mother and step-dad Linda and Brent Jepson; brother, Raymond; sister-in-law, Mandy; nephews: Tony (Carly, soon new grand-nephew), Joey and Bentley. Niece, Emily (James); many loving cousins, step-brothers and sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Michael Redmond; infant brother, Thomas Jr.; grandparents, Raymond and Ellen Putman; Mae Redmond; cousin, Steven Clark Jones; aunts: Diana Jones Richins and Pat Redmond Silcox; uncles: Michael Putman, Terry Redmond and Earl Silcox.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the mortuary and two hours prior to services on Saturday. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
