Todd Joseph Foster

November 16, 1971 — August 3, 2022

Todd Joseph Foster was born on November 16, 1971, in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. He passed away on August 3, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.
His mother was heavy on drugs and alcohol and as a result, suffered from the effects of his mother’s lifestyle. At 4 months the hospital had labeled him as a “fail to thrive” baby when he was placed in a foster home the size of a newborn baby. With much patience, effort and love, Todd started to eat and then thrive.
He lived with his foster family in Portage la Prairie until he was 6 years old when he was officially adopted and became a member of the “Foster” family. He loved to listen to music, play with cars and watch the wheels turn on the car for hours.
After being adopted, he moved with his family to Kingman, Arizona, USA. He attended pre-school, Kindergarten, elementary and started Jr. High School in Kingman. When he was 14 yrs. old, he was transferred to a special school down in Phoenix, AZ. This move necessitated him being placed in Latch school in Phoenix where he lived in a group home with other mentally challenged students. He completed his schooling and graduated from Latch, but remained the rest of his life in a group home.
Todd loved to help people. He was out-going and friendly. He greatly missed his family and would keep in touch with his family by phone and the occasional visit.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Todd holds a special place in the hearts of his family and he will be greatly missed.
