Timothy George Stumpp passed away surrounded by his children and puppies on June 2, 2018 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 16, 1960 in Afton, Wyoming to Dick William Stumpp and Bonnie June Davis Stumpp.
Tim enjoyed growing up on the farms in Star Valley, Wyoming. He played football, wrestled and graduated from Star Valley High School. He served a faithful mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Ohio, Cleveland Mission. He married Traci Chidester and they were sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Together for 17 years, they raised their children. Though they later divorced, they remained best friends throughout his life. Tim married Debbi Pellet and they later divorced. He cherished his relationship with his step-sons, their wives and grandkids.
Tim lived life with kindness and in service of others. He enjoyed the simple things in life. He had an amazing sense of humor and liked to make everyone laugh. He loved to play video games with his sons; spending time with his family; playing with his silly granddaughter, Jade; and his companions, D.D., Brownie and Special Agent Franks were his pride and joy.
Tim is survived by his mom, Bonnie; children: Tiffany (Euclides), Timothy J., and Taylor; niece, Brandy; brothers: Richard and Glenn(Mary); sister, Jeanette; step-sons: Jason (Christina), Billy (Jessica), Andrew (Chelsea), and Bradley (Wendy); best friends: Charlie and Traci Chidester; grandkids: Jade, Samuel, Lizzy, Becka, Ben, Aubree, Arlo, Oliver, Peter and Delilah; along with many other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Dick; and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 9,2018 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and again one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.Service Information
