Thomas R. Pearson

Thomas Ren Pearson of Salt Lake City, Utah, age 87, died peacefully at home on August 14, 2017. Born in Vernal, Utah July 15, 1930 to Thomas Charles and Anna Marie Pearson. He graduated from Uintah High School. After high school he was in the service for 4 years. He married Jolene Cook on April 18, 1953. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City temple. They had six children together then later divorced. He then married Vera Hope, they later divorced. He married Renee Martin January 1, 2000 in the Salt Lake City temple with whom he spent his life up until his death. He was a hard worker and worked at many rewarding jobs where he had many friends. He retired doing maintenance for the LDS church, schools, and then worked in the mail department at Questar gas until he retired at the age of 80. He loved being outside camping and fishing with family. He loved gardening, being in his greenhouse growing geraniums, flowers and vegetables for his yard. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and two sons, Renny and Jeff. He is survived by his wife Renee, and four children, Steve (Donita), Rusty, Scott and Deena (Wayne) Sucese, and many stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:30 am on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan. Graveside services for families and friends to follow.
