Thomas “Tom”, age 83, passed away on September 16, 2018 in Taylorsville, Utah. Tom was born September 20, 1934 in Mt Pleasant, Utah to DeVirl P and Sylvia H Curtis. Tom married Marilyn E Hays on July 22, 1957. Tom was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, camping, and viewing wildlife. He loved to make up songs to sing to his family. He also became a Reverend. He had ministries at the prison, jail and Mission for over a decade. He lived and loved to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. He served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged. He retired from the federal government. He loved his wife’s monkeys. Tom is survived by his wife Marilyn, daughter Jackie (Jim), Son Tom (Holly), Sister Lorraine Sutherland; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by his son Ron, parents, great grandson Stephen, brothers Bill, Glade, Blaine, and Norman. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 2 PM, with a viewing 2 hours prior to the service at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.Service Information
