Thomas Clyde Mattingly

Thomas Clyde Mattingly “Tom” age 76 died on October 19, 2021 in Murray, Utah at IMC Medical Center. He was born on January 10, 1945 in Huntington, Utah to Jennie Alvera Berg and Charles Ray Mattingly. He married Nancy Virginia Mattingly on April 18, 1980. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City L.D.S. Temple on July 18, 1985 For Time and all Eternity. They were a blended family with 6 children and one together in all 7.
Tom loved his country and was proud to serve in the Army. After the Army he drove Truck and boy did he enjoy it! He went all over the US. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, football, camping and tinkering in his garage on anything and everything. He was so good at working on and diagnosing cars with just a listen of the ear. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was a meat and taters man but grew a love for Chinese food.
He was a very loving husband and loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife Nancy Virginia Mattingly, his Daughter’s Misty (Matthew) Korth, Julie (Joe) Denison, Jaynie McDougal, Son CJ (Millie) Mattingly, Grandson’s Cory Greene, Gage Mead, Joey Denison, William Denison and Mitchell Mattingly, Grand-daughter’s Sierra (Devin) Hawker, Karlee Mead, Olivia Denison, Angel Denison and Heather (Jose) Chavez, Brother’s Charlie (Pat) Mattingly, Raymond (Shauna) Pratt, Nevin (Denise) Pratt, as well as brother and sister in-laws and many great grand-children and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jennie and Charles Mattingly, sisters Rosie Mattingly, Ray Mattingly, Deanna Edwards, Alice Christensen, Jenna Pratt, Brother Ron Mattingly, Son’s Joe Mattingly and Tommy Mattingly.
Dad we love you so much! We are so proud of the man you were and all you did for our family. Till we meet again…
Funeral Services will be held at the South Jordan River 10th ward Stake Center on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. 1570 W. 11400 S. South Jordan, Utah. Viewing one hour prior.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6:00–8:00 P.M. at the South Jordan River 10th ward Stake Center on 1570 W. 11400 S. South Jordan, Utah.
Graveside Services will be at Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 S. State St. Sandy, Utah.
