In Loving Memory of Thomas Alonzo Hanes, devoted husband and father, and Great-grandpa returned to our heavenly father Monday September 06, 2021, with his children and Great-grandchildren by his side. Thomas was born September 8, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was married to the love of his life, Carolyn Hanes, who passed away June 15, 2016. They were married for 57 years and now they are reunited together in heaven.
Survived by his four children, Son Thomas (Navona) Hanes, daughter Tammy (Late husband Alvin) Oxley, daughter Robin (Bert) Thiede, and daughter Teresa (Troy) Fonger, Sister Karen and many grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.
Thomas is preceded in death by daughter Regina Margret Hanes and son Travis Shane Hanes. Thomas served in the Korean War during the years of 1954- 1962.
Graveside services will be held September 14, 2021 at 11:00 am with a two hour viewing prior to service at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah.
For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
