Thelma Virginia Gold Larsen Moriarty

Thelma Virginia Larsen Moriarty, born May 12, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on May 23, 2017. She is survived by her daughter,
Patricia Kaphan; 4 granddaughters: Sheri Moriarty, Pamela Kuykendall, Stacey Kaphan Tonz, and Michelle Burris; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Moriarty; son, Michael Moriarty; and her granddaughter, Aron Kaphan.
Thelma recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was very active with the VA and the American Legion, donating much of her time. She also fostered many children. She loved to laugh and joke and she was always smiling. She will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday June 2, 2017 at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
